Following my internship, I transitioned into the role of an Operations Analyst, where I devise key operational strategies to help teams in Kisi meet their goals.
Primary responsibilities:
• Devise, develop, and deploy strategies and internal initiatives to optimize workflows and metrics reporting across teams, including churn and lead funnel analysis.
• Oversee the company’s internal HubSpot customer relationship management software and Stripe payment system of 100K+ contacts, create automations as needed to maximize operational efficiency.
• Generate detailed sales enablement training materials weekly to efficiently structure and enhance overall sales team performance.
• Convert general data into strategic business plans and continuous improvement suggestions for senior management.
• Serve as a key contributor in top-level strategizing, forecasting, and budgeting that assists in allocating resources and planning performance.
• Identify relevant consumer market trends using analysis comparison to competitors and customer needs.

SALES OPERATIONS AND MARKETING AUTOMATION INTERN, KISI

At Kisi, we’re creating modern keyless entry systems aimed to make door access digital, seamless and secure. Our simple dashboard and easy-to-use app save administrators and employees time, resulting in a more positive and secure work experience.

Primary responsibilities:
• Analyse and track revenue-generating activities
• Generate reports and dashboards to showcase sales performance, and identify gaps to improve on
• Create and refine sales processes for different deal types
• Optimise sales efficiency by increasing visibility of sales activities through segmenting internal data within HubSpot
• Guide and train sales team usage of HubSpot Sales Professional software
• Work with internal support and marketing team to boost sales efficiency and processes
• Promote culture of ownership and collaboration within Kisi's sales team

IMPACT ANALYST INTERN, SOCIAL COLLIDER

Social Collider is a co-working, co-innovative and collaborative space for impact organisations at the heart of Singapore's Silicon Valley.

Primary Responsibilities:
Developing new revenue streams, primarily focusing in business development through getting more partners onboard to benefit from Social Collider’s services.
Managing operations of Social Collider co-working space, which currently physically houses 18 start-ups.
Handling marketing initiatives on social media to strengthen online presence of Social Collider, which saw a 77% in engagement on Facebook and 231% increase in likes on Linkedin.
Curating a report on social enterprises in Asia, with a focus on ASEAN to explore potential regional expansion opportunities for Social Collider.
HUMAN RESOURCE INTERN, FOREWORD COFFEE
May 2018 - August 2018
Foreword Coffee curates specialty coffee in Asia, promoting sustainable coffee consumption from cherry to cup. Foreword imports green coffee directly from Asian producers and roast them locally in small batches.
Foreword Coffee is also a social enterprise member of raiSE (Singapore Centre for Social Enterprises), with the mission to empower differently-abled persons through skills and service training, providing opportunities for employment in the F&B industry.

Primary responsibilities:
• Assessed and evaluated (strengths and weaknesses) of Foreword Coffee’s HR practices and suggested strategies for improvement.
• Developed an employee's handbook that is currently actively used in operations to educate employees on their rights and responsibilities.
• Formulated SOPs on recruitment, on-boarding process, skills development and career progression tracks for interns and employees.
• Researched on available schemes and funding sources for SMEs.
FINANCE AND ADMIN INTERN, THE ODDLE COMPANY

Oddle is the leading cloud-based Software-as-a-service platform that facilitates e-commerce and order management solution for the F&B industry. Oddle was the first start-up I joined fresh out of high school, while waiting for my freshman year at university to begin. It was at Oddle that I discovered my interest in the tech industry.
Primary responsibilities:
• Provided administrative support to Sales and Finance departments.
• Collected payment receivables from our merchants.
• Supported merchants in grant application and other administrative assistance.
• Maintained standards in the filing system.
